Nabal, a long, straight brass horn, is also called "napal". It is used in daechwita, or military march music. It is also used in nongak as a signal.
It is about 114 cm long in length, which can vary. It has two or three conical-shaped brass tubes joined by being inserted into a wider part of the other tube to be a long cylindrical tube.
It has no piston valves and produces natural tones in the range of 3 to 4 tones, which depends on the individual instrument.
